Pablo Lightowler-Stahlberg Juanes
Associate
INTRODUCTION
Since beginning his professional career, Pablo has been closely linked to criminal law, joining Oliva-Ayala in 2019 after having worked in renowned firms specialising in this area. This trajectory has allowed him to develop and consolidate extensive knowledge in the areas that are essential for offering comprehensive criminal advice: regulatory compliance and crime prevention, substantive law, procedural practice and fundamental rights.
Accordingly, Pablo works on numerous, often complex cases, either by developing, implementing and reviewing crime prevention programmes or by defending the interests of individuals and companies before all jurisdictional bodies. In this latter regard, his experience in drafting and submitting appeals in cassation before the Supreme Court deserves special mention.
As part of his commitment to constant training, he frequently attends seminars, lectures and other forums on criminal matters to keep his knowledge up to date with the latest developments in legislation, case law and academic legal opinion. He is also the author of several publications on criminal and procedural-criminal law.
In short, Pablo practices law in a purely vocational manner, carrying out his work with great meticulousness and with the utmost technical rigour.
