Ana Peñaranda Ezpondaburu

Education

Ana Peñaranda graduated in Law and Political Sciences and Sciences of Public Administrations at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and concluded her studies by graduating in the Masters of Access to Legal Practice at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and in the Expert Title of Theory of Crime in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. 

She was awarded with the Extraordinary End of Studies Prize when finalizing both her undergraduate degree and her Masters’ Program and received the Excellence Scholarship during her studies. She also was beneficiary of an Erasmus Scholarship at Kent University of Canterbury (United Kingdom).

Experience

Since joining the team, Ana has actively participated in the defence of procedural and extra-procedural interests, both defence and prosecution, before Courts of all instances of the Spanish criminal and extraditional procedures, including the defence of Human Rights before the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights. Her professional activity includes legal counselling and litigation services in every field of Criminal Law, assisting both particulars and companies in Spain and abroad.
